I'm a contemporary women's fiction author, entrepreneur, and storyteller passionate about writing stories that center Black women, complicated relationships, healing, friendship, and the messy, beautiful journey of becoming.
My stories are for the women who have spent years holding everything together while quietly falling apart. I write women who are strong but exhausted, loving but learning, and brave enough to choose themselves even when it is hard. Through my work, I explore the spaces where love, identity, motherhood, grief, friendship, and second chances collide because real life is rarely simple, and neither are the women in my books.
By day, I work in Human Resources, advocating for people and helping organizations build healthier workplaces. By night, I am usually writing emotionally layered stories about the women we rarely see on the page: women who are messy, resilient, complicated, and worthy of love exactly as they are.
A proud Los Angeles native and millennial raised during the era of MySpace, AIM, and Sidekicks. When I am not writing, you will probably find me reading, obsessing over interior design, planning my next adventure, or convincing myself that I definitely do not need to start another book before finishing the one I am already writing. I am a mom to three amazing kids, the keeper of an ever-growing book collection, and I have more story ideas than I will ever have time to write.
My hope is that readers see pieces of themselves in the women who live on my pages.
